Treatment may include crisis intervention, daily individual consultation with a physician, family and group therapy, nutritional education, medication management and recreational therapies.
Inpatient treatment is based on the combination of cognitive-behavioral refocusing and a 12-step philosophy of recovery, with group therapy used as a primary model of treatment. All patients are carefully supervised by on-site medical staff.
Healing modalities may include yoga, movement therapy, meditation, art therapy, guided imagery, journaling, scrapbooking and recreation therapies. We also address underlying problems that may include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, codependency or relationship issues.
Patients are coached in crisis management and life skills through a variety of therapeutic groups. Those in rehabilitation or residential status may be offered eye movement desensitization and reprocessing.
