What are Benefits of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
The benefit of IOP treatment is that it allows people to live at home during treatment so they can continue going about their work, academics and interpersonal relationships, while still devoting much-needed attention to the difficulties that they face due to past trauma.
This program provides our clients an opportunity to address issues as they occur on a day-to-day basis. This level of care also allows them to transition from an inpatient setting to their home environment while they continue the recovery process.
Our program is also highly customizable and completely individualized.
Treatment Modalities
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapy shown by research as one of the most effective treatments for trauma. CBT helps individuals learn about how beliefs and memories about the trauma have impacted their lives.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a form of CBT. DBT is shown by research to be effective in trauma treatment to help individuals learn new skills and observe emotions in stressful moments instead of reacting to them.
